Day 20-Faith that Pleases Him

Hebrews 11:6
But without faith, it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.

Hebrews 11 is the Hall of Fame for faith. In it, you will find some great testimonies of people who delighted in the Lord and received the desires of their hearts.   It will help build your faith if you take a few minutes to read it.
"Now faith brings our hopes into reality and becomes the foundation needed to acquire the things we long for. It is all the evidence required to prove what is still unseen." (Hebrews 11:1 TPT)
Faith is required for you to see your dreams and heart's desires fulfilled.
Faith is what gives them substance and brings them into reality.
Faith empowers us and motivates us to follow the Lord's instructions.
Since faith is so important, how do you get it?  You have been given a measure of faith, to begin with.   Jesus says you only need faith the size of a mustard seed to move mountains, so you have enough to make your dreams come true. You take that beginning measure of faith and grow it or kill it. Faith comes by hearing, so it is important to watch what you hear. This means not only what you are listening to, but what you say to yourself. The bible tells us that what is in your heart is what you will speak out of your mouth. The words that come from our own mouths are the most powerful faith builders or faith destroyers.
The second part of this verse is you must believe that God will reward you for diligently seeking Him.  As you are delighting in the Lord this month, are you believing that God will reward you with the desires of your heart?

Are you sabotaging yourself with your own words? Review your dreams, desires, and goals for this year, and pay close attention to the thoughts that first arise. If those thoughts are not in line with seeing you succeed, start changing them. Write down what you want to believe and read it out loud several times a day. Keep doing this until faith is established in your heart, and the words that come from your mouth agree with the dreams and desires God has placed there.
