Day 11- Ability to Please Him
In part 1 of 31 Days of Delight, we saw how God delights in us. In part 2, we will review how we delight him. Today's scripture will reassure you that you have been given the ability to please God. Philippians 2:13 AMP For it is not your strength, but it is God who is effectively at work in you, both to will and to work(that is, strengthening, energizing, and creating in you the longing and the ability to fulfill your purpose) for His good pleasure. God is continually working in you, giving you the desire to please Him. You feel that desire, but how can you ever hope to please Him? The thought overwhelms you. You strive, day after day, to do what you think will delight Him, but you are never confident that you are. Does that sound like you?
