Day 29-He Gives Us the Land
Numbers 14:8 (AMP) If the Lord delights in us, then He will bring us into this land and give it to us, a land which flows with milk and honey. The land here refers to the land promised to Abraham and his descendants. God had brought Israel out of Egypt and was showing them the land that He wanted them to possess. You know the story, Moses sent twelve spies out to scout to land. When they came back, ten of the spies saw taking the land as an impossibility. "We are like grasshoppers in their sight." Only Joshua and Caleb, said the land was exceedingly good and they should go for it. They informed the people that their enemies protection had been removed and the Lord was with them.
