You have a part in God's perfect plan.  He has chosen you to be adopted as his delightful child through your union with Jesus.  His plan is your deliverance and salvation, to lavish you with His love and grace.  The blood of Jesus paid the penalty for your sin and resulted in your forgiveness and complete pardon.  With this grace and love, He gives you wisdom and practical insight into His will and purpose for your life.  By accepting this grace and love, you bring him great pleasure. God delights in showing us mercy and loving kindness.  He takes extreme pleasure in doing so.  The Message Translation shows us what this looks like. Micha 7:18-20 Where is the god who can compare with you—      wiping the slate clean of guilt, Turning a blind eye, a deaf ear,      to the past sins of your purged and precious people? You don’t nurse your anger and don’t stay angry long,      for mercy is your specialty. That’s what you love most. And compassion is on its way to us.      You’ll stamp out our wrongdoing. You’ll sink our sins      to the bottom of the ocean.
